Terms of service

By creating an account or using Nakama, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These Terms are governed by Singapore law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nakama. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Ryo packs. You must not be prohibited by law in your jurisdiction from participating in prediction markets or purchasing virtual goods.

Ryo is a consumable virtual good. It has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real currency, cannot be transferred between users, and cannot be withdrawn from the platform in any form.

Purchased Ryo does not expire. Ryo earned through gameplay (daily claims, winnings) expires after 12 months of account inactivity.

Ryo pack purchases are final. No refunds are issued for used Ryo. Unused Ryo may be refunded within 14 days of purchase at our discretion, subject to applicable consumer protection law.

We reserve the right to adjust the Ryo economy, including pricing and reward rates, with 7 days notice to registered users.

Nakama offers play-money prediction markets for entertainment purposes only. Participation does not constitute gambling under Singapore law as no real money changes hands.

Resolutions are final. After the dispute window closes, market outcomes cannot be appealed. We resolve markets in good faith against the official sources identified at market creation. We are not liable for good-faith resolution errors.

We reserve the right to cancel, extend, or modify any market at our discretion, including markets that become unresolvable, are based on incorrect information, or violate these Terms. In case of cancellation, creator stakes are refunded.

When you create a market, you confirm that: the question is not already answered by publicly available information, you have not submitted the market to manipulate existing markets, and the resolution criteria are clear and enforceable.

We review all submitted markets before they go live. We may reject any submission without explanation. Rejected markets receive a written reason. Your creator stake is only deducted on submission and is refunded if the market auto-cancels within 48 hours due to insufficient pool.

You may not:

• Create markets about events you have inside knowledge of
• Use multiple accounts to manipulate markets or reputation
• Post spoilers without appropriate tagging
• Harass, dox, or make false claims about real people
• Attempt to exploit bugs or manipulate platform systems
• Use automated scripts to interact with the platform
• Post sexual, violent, or hateful content

Prediction takes (your public commentary on a prediction) must comply with our community standards. Takes are public and permanently associated with your account. We may remove takes that violate these Terms without notice. Repeat violations result in graduated sanctions up to permanent ban.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, at our sole discretion. In case of permanent ban: unused purchased Ryo may be refunded at our discretion; earned Ryo is forfeited. You may appeal bans at Tier 3 and above through the formal appeal process.

All manga, anime, and related imagery displayed on Nakama is used for fan discussion and editorial purposes only. Nakama is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any anime or manga publisher. Character names, series names, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Your use of Nakama is subject to our Privacy Policy. Your prediction history and reputation are publicly visible by design — this is the core product. Your email and purchase history are private.

Nakama is provided "as is". We make no guarantees about uptime, market resolution accuracy, or Ryo value. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount of Ryo you purchased in the 90 days preceding any claim.

We will give 14 days notice before making material changes to these Terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. You may close your account if you do not accept the new terms.
